Lake Burrinjuck, also known as Burrinjuck Dam, is fed by the Murrumbidgee, Goodradigbee and Yass rivers. Its broad main basin and long river arms offer plenty to explore. Woolgarlo puts you on the northern reaches of this much-loved inland waterway.
Construction began in 1909 and was completed in 1928. Built for irrigation, the dam still supports farms and communities along the Murrumbidgee, as well as providing the setting for fishing and boating holidays.
